January the first 2019 - Updating My Timelines and Headings
Updating My Timelines and Headings

It’s the first day of a new year. What does that mean to me when it comes to my writing? Not much. I’m still going to continue writing as often as I can. What will change a little is how I’m going to write. I am not going to use commas as much anymore. Especially when it comes to ‘and, or, and but’ starting a sentence. Not as much for the ‘ands’. The ‘ors’ are a lot like the ands. But the ‘buts’ I will more often. Like the one that I just used.

I’m also going to try to get out of the habit of not using the same word to start a paragraph or sentence without it being separated by at least two other paragraphs or sentences. I did it briefly last year during the Masquerade Party Challenge. So, I know that I can do it. It’s not going to be easy for me to do it, but I’m going to try.

I’m going to try to do more first-person POVs too. Did you notice what I just did with this paragraph? Maybe it won’t be so hard to do about all. Especially, in my paragraphs. I’m not very good at first-person POVs, but that’s what I’m going to try to do. Doing it with this months WDC contest shouldn’t be a problem. It’s the rest of the year I probably must worry about.

Now for some good news. The above paragraphs aren’t bad news exactly. They just aren’t related to what this Blog entry is supposed to be about. Which are my timelines and my Scene Headings. Both of which I got done yesterday. It wasn’t as hard as I thought that it would be. Especially, when it came to the timelines. All I needed to do with them was to drag them down to where I wanted them to be. It wasn’t that easy. I did have to make a few adjustments. But overall it was easier than I thought it would be.

As for the Scene Headings, they weren’t too hard either. All I did was place the second parts to the being of them. Then I deleted the second parts. I also had to do some adjustments because of the new timelines. I did them before I adjusted the rest of the Scene Headings.

What am I going to do today? Will I going to continue with this movie treatment? Or maybe I’ll do my Dear Me letter for this months WDC contest? I could always do both. I probably won’t do that. Mostly because I will probably start of with the WDC contest. And it’s probably going to take the whole day to do. If it doesn’t take an extra day or two to complete it. I might work on it today. Then I will return to my movie Treatment while I’m at work. Then next Monday and Tuesday, aka my days off, I will complete my WDC contest entry. I think that’s what I’m going to do. I will decide that when I wake up this morning. But that is probably what I will do.
