For These I Pray

         For those who say:
"My religion is the only way!"
Who do not see God's mighty hand,
In the religions of their fellowman.
         For these I pray.

         For those who say:
"I am a member of the upper class!"
Who believe themselves of the chosen few,
That know precisely what to do.
         For these I pray.

         For those who say:
"My race is the super race!"
Who believe the color of their skin,
Makes them superior to their fellowmen.
         For these I pray.

         For those who say:
"My political party is always right!"
Who believe that their political affiliation,
Guarantees them a heavenly station.
         For these I pray.

         For those who say:
"My gender is the stronger sex!"
Who believe their chromosomes contain the key,
To their superiority.
         For these I pray.

         For those who say:
"My country can do no wrong!"
Who always see the invisible boundary line,
Which separates their nation from mankind.
         For these I pray.
