Jalál (Glory), 3 Mashíyyat (Will) 175 B.E. - Saturday, September 29, 2018 When I found Baha'u'llah my love for Christ did not die or disappear. When I found Baha'u'llah my love expanded to encompass all of God's Manifestations. The "Blogging Circle of Friends " prompt for DAY 2141 “The end is never the end. It's always the the beginning of something.” ― Kate Lord Brown, The Perfume Garden. Write about an end that became a beginning. At 71 years young, I've had several ends that became new beginnings. Some of those ends were the deaths of family members. One of the most important ends, which had nothing to do with a death, concerned the phases of my spiritual journey. When I moved from Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Las Vegas, Nevada, I had never heard of Baha'u'llah or the Baha'i Faith. True, I had two dreams when I was younger about the return of Christ, but--despite the fact that they have remained clear--I didn't associate these with changing my religion or starting a new phase of my spiritual journey. It was only after I moved to Las Vegas, and heard about the Baha'i Faith and Baha'u'llah, that the dreams began to make sense. Once I heard about Baha'u'llah, and understood the symbolic meaning of Christ Returned in the Glory of the Father, I declared my faith by signing my name to a card. The card was sent to the National Spiritual Assembly, and I met with the Local Spiritual Assembly at the first nineteen-day Feast I attended. My first Feast attendance occurred in late November at the Feast of Qawl (Speech). I have been a Baha'i since late in the 1970s.
