Cat Affection and Tuesday Contemplations
Fiḍál (Grace), 11 ‘Izzat (Might) 175 B.E. - Tuesday, September 18, 2018

September is a good month
for writing poems
celebrating the season.

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for DAY 1736
In what ways, do you think, animals especially cats show affection to humans?

Cat Affection

Each cat has a different personality. This means that different cats show affection in different ways. I had one cat that showed affection by jumping on my shoulder every time I walked past the refrigerator. Another cat showed affection by depositing dead mice or whatever small wild creature he caught on the porch near the door. My Grandmother had a cat that showed affection by sleeping in a nest in the chicken house, and preventing a neighbor's egg sucking cats from stealing the eggs or chasing the chickens.

The "Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for DAY 2130
Use these words in your blog entry: ice-cream, tempt, abrasive, money, baffle, straight, pancake, oppose.

Tuesday Contemplations

An ice-cream pancake
delicious to contemplate
on a cool Tuesday morning.

Tempt banana bread
straight from the oven,
covered with butter.

Don't oppose my breakfast choices
even though they may baffle you,
because life is too short and abrasive
to worry about money
when there are so many
delicious food available.
