The Saga of Prosperous Snow Continues |
Istijlál (Majesty), 16 Kamál (Perfection) 175 B.E. - Thursday, August 16, 2018 Why do I write? I write therefore I am doesn't answer the question. I write to stay alive, just as food, sleep, and air keep my body alive, writing keeps my soul and mind active. I want to write I want to write about the Bab, Baha'u'llah, and 'Abdu'l-Baha. I want to write about the Baha'i martyrs past and present. I want to describe the beauty of their faith and the love they had for God, the Unknowable Creator. A faith and love so strong that they never questioned as they moved forward into the Abha Kingdom1. I want to write about the darkness and splendor of interstellar space from the point of view of a star. I want to write about dawn from the point of view of my soul. I want the write about the majesty and glory of humanity as a single race, a single species, as the flowers of one garden. There was a time when I wanted to write other thing; however, as I grow older, and approach death's door, my focus has become less materialistic and more spiritual. I attempt to write about a subject as I understand it. My understanding changes as I pray, meditate, and write. My understanding changes as I search for truth myself, instead of relying completely on other people's understanding of a subject. Today’s Practice Session: Write about your objective(s) as you continue on this marvelous journey. Written for "~ The Poet's Place Cafe~" . Footnotes |
