The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's ParadiseOpen in new Window. prompt for DAY 1684
“The moon is a loyal companion. It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human. Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.” ~Tahereh Mafi
Your thoughts?

The Moon is a Metaphor

The moon is a metaphor for the duality of a human being. Darkness refers to the animal nature, the human ego, which sees only material existence and does not look beyond into the light of spiritual reality. The phases refer to the changing point of view of the self-aware, who each day attempt to learn about themselves so that they can reflect the rays of the Almighty, which shine through the darkness of matter to illuminate the human soul.
