The Rain

The Rain

The sound of God's laughter
Echoes through charcoal curtains,
That momentarily part,
To reveal flashes of splendor.

Angels descend as rows of gray ribbons
That sway in the wind,
Each cherub transports to
The children of matter one of God's tears.
