We live much of life amid unique choices. Joy is anchored in The One beyond our life. |
The gracious lights of God have sung, since 'fore the physical begun To show the sun of life by day and moon's reflection, night's display. The colored lights of sunrise bring the new day as their Joys full sing. At sunset lights do sing, again, in reddish hues the day to end. The specks of white poke through the dark of night's black curtain, shade's great park. More specks of white swim through the deep a-seeking nourishment to reap. So sweet the colored Christmas tree lights sing God's traits for all to see. The Spirit of the Living Lord this red the blood of Saving Word. The orange, yellow, green and blue sing wisest counsels ever new. The silver glow, without, within shows fellowship restored from sin. The lightning strike from east to west displays how quick we're judged or blessed. Each lightning bug appears so quick, it seems as though it's just a trick. In darkest past by Aslan's grace, He colored worlds from singing face. When C. S. Lewis wrote this thought the greatest wisdom then was taught. Creation from the Song of God, the singing lights all still applaud. The brightest Light will purify the broken song by One on High. by Jay O'Toole on April 30th, 2018 |
