Last Date
Someone will notice I’m gone
if I don’t get back by dawn,
or at least that’s what I thought,
while struggling with bonds so taut
they were making my wrists bleed.

Next time, I’ll be taking heed
to warnings given about
dating such a perverse lout,
who loves inflicting great pains
with his heinous whips and chains.
