Porcelain cup

I kept my love for you inside
till I could no longer hold it—
then peed your sultry amber urine
into a porcelain cup
that placed under running water
cooled to pale yellow.

I saw you clearly
as I raised your essence
to my thirsty lips then—
slowly—
dumped
you
out.
