In Need of Hope

A pall hangs o'er my day.
Another friend has died.
So many things I'd say.
So many tears I've cried.

This year has bled in death.
My heart is feeling numb.
With ev'ry passing breath
could more bad news yet come?

The news of Glen would Spell
a heavy, cloudy mind.
I did my best to tell
of friendship, Oh, so kind.

His funny antics played
a farmer in the South.
His teeth as judge displayed
so swiftly from his mouth.

He danced with Mr. T
one time back in his youth.
Not once I questioned he
that this were very truth.

For Glen has lived his days
so full in ev'ry part.
Accomplished in his ways,
convinced I'm from the heart.

Though famously he lived
and quickly he has died,
In pain I'm now relieved
to've known him with great pride.
