The Saga of Prosperous Snow Continues |
Monday, February 12, 2018 Motivation is a jewel reflecting the light of creativity. The {item:blogcity prompt for DAY 1518 What impressed you the most in your earliest years that you believe may have had an effect on your writing? I mean things like the neighborhood you grew up in or the fairy tales and stories you came upon before you were in your teens. Childhood Memories Motivate Childhood memories encourage my muses bringing back laughter and tears. Memories scattered through the photograph album of my mind. Videos and still photos, enhanced with the colors of childhood, flash across the movie screen of my thoughts. Lines, stanzas, paragraphs, descriptions, metaphors, and similes--which can I attribute to a memory colorized by emotion? Why try? I transcribe them as them as they come, without worrying about anything except writing them down. The {item:bcof} prompt for DAY 1915 Use these words in you blog entry: dominion, sovereignty, kingdom, realm, universe. God's Word Motivates I contemplate the universe, and I am awestruck by the epiphany... every atom and subatomic particle reflects the splendor of the Almighty. I meditate upon the sacred scriptures, and I am astounded at the realization... the holy books of every religion reveals the sovereignty of the All-Bountiful Creator. I ponder the realm of matter, and I am amazed at the multitude of proofs it presents confirming the existence of the Almighty. I consider the spiritual dominion, and I am enthralled by the beauty of the immortality of the human soul. I read God's Word and I am filled with gratitude because it reveals that the kingdoms of both matter and spirit belong to the Almighty. |
