The Saga of Prosperous Snow Continues |
Sunday, January 21, 2018 Christmas, my comfort teddy bear, sits on my couch with Christmas Eve his teddy bear friend. The Sunday News prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" This week, Delta Air Lines announced stricter guidelines for Support and Service animals because they feel some passengers are taking advantage of this on flights. What are your thoughts on this? Comfort Animals I can't judge what type of animal gives people comfort, I know that dogs and cats give me comfort; however, I probably wouldn't take one with me in the passenger compartment of a plane. I used to know a guy who had pet tarantulas, and, I'm sure they gave him some type of comfort, he was always bragging about them. When I was taking care of Grandma Mary, after Grandpa Frank died, there was girl in Blackwell who had a pet white rat. She was always bragging about Rachel (I think that was the rat's name). When Rachel had kittens (one of the names for baby rats), she tried to give them away to her friends. I think she finally took the baby rats to the pet store, I hope no one ever told her that some people purchase baby rats and mice to feed their pet snakes. |
