Riddle of the Soul

I walk along a rose scented path,
bordered by the multicolored blooms
of devotion and divine love.

Upon this material plane,
I am a dazzling enigma
attending the school of mortal life
where I juggle my physical and spiritual reality.

The road I travel
is neither straight
nor smooth,
rather it is one that challenges
eve the greatest athlete

I encounter tests and difficulties
motivate me
to control
rather than dominate
the physical body that is
the steed I ride
through the roads of matter.
