What do you think of this quote? Is it true or false? Can you use it in a character sketch?"

I would have to agree with this statement to some extent but I would also say that there are some things that are better off dead. I know that I am no where near perfect but each day I grow a little more and that growth makes me just a little more like my Savior. This growth is exactly what He wants of me as I become more like Him. Certainly I have a long way to go but as long as I keep growing I am on the right track. Sure there are also times when I lose ground and those times are the real tragedies in life.

Blog City image small "What is the one kitchen utensil you could not cook without?"

I could not cook without a spatula. I know this to be a fact because for a year and a half that was the only kitchen utensil I had. I had been homeless for four months just before that and when I finally got an apartment I was fortunate enough to buy one pan, one skillet, One pot, and a spatula. I had a set of dishes and a pocket knife and that was my entire kitchen ensemble. I managed just fine though I longed to have all the "proper" stuff for a kitchen. I opened cans with my pocket knife and cooked everything in my few pots and pans. I used the spatula for stirring, turning, and serving. So if I am ever starting over again give me at least a pot, pan, skillet, and spatula. I'll make do with those.
