The Pleasantness of the Season

Joy,
Eats,
Love,
Hope,
Music,
Lighting,

The Friends,
The Family,
Santa Clause,
Christmas Trees,
Colorful Decorations,
Jesus in His Manger.

Snowy White Landscape,
Homeless having Home,
Shelters for the Needy,
Pleasant Giving from the Heart,
Coffee and Conversation,
Broken Lives find Salvation.

Scrooges given new belonging,
Joyful voices, filled with songing,
Days of laughter, then some resting,
Frosty outside leads to nesting,
Days of darkness know their ending,
Newest year brings thoughts of mending.

Tree of Life has Christmas Honor, showing
what's to come in making redemption's new joy,
Life everlasting begins with Jesus in a manger of hay.
Stable is a dark, dank cave that houses animals for work,
God in flesh that needs to eat, that needs to bathe, that needs sleep,
Living like one of us, dying just as easily, raising to newest life.

Hope He imparts,
Joyful knowledge,
Days so peaceful,
Nights so trustful,
Life is everlasting,
Relationship never ending.
