Flowing Waters

The flowing water wears the rock.
Drop by drop, it wins the day.
Determination is the way;
no need to run when you can walk.

Each day a challenge seems to block
my path but I won’t go astray.
The flowing water wears the rock.
Drop by drop, it wins the day.

Contentment’s place lies in the clock;
as minutes pass and fears allay,
you’ll find there is peace, come what may.
Success lies in each tick, each tock.
The flowing water wears the rock!
