Keeping the Spirit of Christmas

To keep the hope that Christmas brings
throughout the coming year
Is spirit lifting heart that sings,
so full of life and cheer!

I'll honor Christmas in my heart
as Ebenezer did,
And keep it through the year from start
as spirits had him bid.

To live the Past, the Present, too,
and Future all at once.
They'll strive within me through and through
each day and all the months.

I'll love my fellow man my best,
imperfect though I am.
I'll honor God as each new test
shows Wisdom of His Plan.

To keep the lessons locked within
will be my daily goal,
'Til life I live will help to win
the Hope of some lost soul.

Salvation is the Gift of God
to all, who will receive.
Forever we will all applaud
The One, Who hearts believe.
