Thanksgiving Changes

I was thinking about how my Thanksgiving festivities have changed over the years. My husband and I make our own turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, vegetable, rolls, sometimes we have deviled eggs and I would bake a Halloween cake that Pillsbury puts out once a year. My son and his wife would come over for dessert and his wife would bring over a pumpkin pie.

My son is a Psychologist and he and his wife moved to Minnesota and don't come over. It has been three years. My husband and I watched Macy's Parade and the Dog Show. We enjoy our dinner.

One year, my husband's father and step mother came over because it snowed and they go to Michigan for Thanksgiving but they couldn't that year so they had Thanksgiving for years. We enjoyed having them.

My husband buys a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. I am not good at baking pies. We enjoy our dinner and am thankful for another year.
