day 10 conflicts and allies
(1) Complications. Brainstorm additional things that could go wrong for your protagonist. You are not required to resolve any problems yet, just create them. Remember: The more hardships your main character faces, the more readers will cheer them on!
(2) Identify allies and enemies encountered along the journey and describe how they help or hinder your protagonist(s). Add any new characters to your character list.
Complications: Grad school is expensive! Changes at work: EMR, being sold, and conflicts when we use our boundaries…
Lunch is a good idea! Yes, but how does one in the service industry politely and professionally tell patients, “take a seat, you are early, or unscheduled, and we need to nourish our physical bodies and take a mental break”?
Allies: my supportive co-workers, an equine therapy co-volunteer, Bethany. We stand together during the changes at work.
Bethany has a sweet, peaceable spirit, I am drawn to her, she also is real. Commented on not getting lunch at her place of employment either.
