Poem Prompt: Inspiration be damned. I'm looking for a new muse!
Rhyming Poem
Word Count: 94

Inspiration is the name of my muse
To my head she causes abuse
Help wanted, I need a new one
This disagreeable muse is no longer fun

I write of a dog, and she inspires a cat
I scribble in the feline, and she orders a bat
My winter changes to fall
Then summer has me wearing a shawl

This wacky muse needs to go now it's true
I'd rather write of a beach or a zoo
Inspiration be damned, it's all just a lie
Okay, stay, I really can't say a good by.
