World building: Day 8 (again) politics

Some more information for the political situation for my rainforest people. I had had a civil war listed some 80-odd years prior to the current time, I might adjust this Ao that it reflects Amie's parents or grandparents generation (about 40-odd years in the past) and the second most recent change in ruler. This civil war lead to the rainforest folk splitting into two separate countries. Amie's country is very much a totalitarian, dictator type of king, who oppresses the lessor classes. Imperfection is likely to be a death sentence. The other country is one that involves more freedom.
