"Festival of Paradise - The King of FestivalsOpen in new Window. contains the first part of a three part poem about Ridvan. The title is The Days of Rivan with the first part called The First Day of Ridvan. The other two parts will be The Ninth Day of Ridvan and The Twelfth Day of Ridvan. I'm only writing about the days when work is prohibited for this poem. Eventually I want to post a copy of the completed poem in "Bicentenary Poems and ProseOpen in new Window., when I do that I'm adding the following verse to the first section of the poem. If I run across verses that are appropriate for the other two sections I'll add those the poem as well.

The First Day of Ridvan

"Verily, all created things were immersed in the sea of purification when, on that first day of Ridvan, We shed upon the whole of creation the splendors of Our most excellent Names and Our most exalted Attributes. This, verily, is a token of My loving providence, which hath encompassed all the worlds."
