The Talk Tuesday prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" Rank your favorite fruit flavors- let's limit them to a Top 10 or Top 5 list- and then defend your picks in the comments . (Anyone listing feijoa in their entry is getting banned from future 30DBC rounds! ) First I want to thank Fivesixer for identifying the forbidden fruit. Some of the questions that have bothered me for a century are (1) "What precisely did the forbidden fruit look like?" (2) "Where can I find it?" and (3) "How did it taste?" Now that I know what it is and where to find it I can eventually answer the last question. My Favorite Fruits Not Necessarily in Numerical or Alphabetical Order An apple a day keeps the doctor away unless it's skin gets stuck in my throat or under my dentures. However, baked in a pie or peeled and dipped in chocolate or cheese delectable dish. Cold and sliced into sections makes a mouthwatering summer treat. Watermelon is also good cubed and mixed in a fruit or even a green salad with a nice dressing appropriate to the salad. I like to peel a banana and slice it into my cereal or dip it in yogurt. I also like banana cream pie with a cup of hot coffee. My grandmother would slice bananas in her fruit salad along with oranges, coconut, and other delicious fruits and nuts. I like oranges by themselves, but I prefer them in fruit or some other type of salad with walnuts or whatever nut is available. Lemon meringue pie with hot coffee. Key lime pie with hot coffee. My favorite fruits bring back childhood memories of Grandma's cooking. The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" prompt for DAY 1104 What do you think 'shared experiences' do?
