I hear crying and I look around There a person is crying, kneeling Over the river, a waterfall cascades Over a cliff and in to the river. I go to the person to see if I can help And he turns to me with a face that glowed Like a lantern in the night. “Why do you cry?” I ask him “The world has gone in a direction from which I don’t know if they will return. The people Look to greed and power to worship. Very few are Godly men, who consider from whence they came I am saddened by what I find on earth Women painted like harlots Men brutish and shameless The Lord should be their shepherd But His sheep have strayed Far from finding friendship with the savior For He looks for those who are meek and kind Who know what is important in life That humans are to be stewards of the land And keeper of wildlife. But what do I find The land has been raped and wildlife caged and killed. I pray to all humanity reverse yourselves, Repent for your own sake and for your loved ones. The day shall soon come when the Savior will return as A Warrior to cut down the wicked from the cities and fields.” And the angel of God looked down upon me and spoke once more “You have good intentions, you are God fearing and like the little child. I will tell the savior of our talk”… “But I’ve said nothing to you sir!” “You needn’t speak to me, your thoughts spoke volumes, this is why I was crying, because of your sadness and because you were thinking of others in a loving way. The Father shall keep you in His mind.” And with that being said the man simply evaporated into thin air. ![]() ![]() 330 words 60 lines |
