What Happened to Chat?

The Story Master informed me that Chat has been canceled.
That's right a writing website has canceled chat.
Well, well, well, I think that is happening a lot.
President Donald Trump has stated, "The media is the enemy."
I have had a senior regional manager warn me not to chat on the internet.
What is so dangerous about CHAT?

Anecdotal observations~

Eric Brenner was a bristly old curmundgeon ..
He spread hate and discontent.
And the corporation thought he was great;
until he used anti-gay language.
Eric's personality got him a lawsuit and a head injury.
He got hit on the head by a tree he was cutting down..

Bad Karma?

Musaf says to me, "America has killed more innocent people than ISIS."
I must take care not to be offensive in my response or be terminated.
"There is a difference in targeting civilians and bombing terrorist."
I foolishly answer ...
I am called to Human Resources: "We do not chat about terrorist."
How else do I respond, "I was asked a question and I answered it."
