Happy Valentines Day
*Heart* *Choco* *WChoco* *MChoco* *Heart*

The advantage of being alone on Valentines Day
is that you don't have to share the chocolate with anyone.

The "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUSOpen in new Window. prompt for the 50/50 challenge
Tell us a story! Not including your WDC handle or offsite accounts elsewhere, have you ever had to (or tried to) use a fake name before? Have you ever given someone a false phone number or address, maybe to get out of an awkward situation? Has it ever come back to haunt you? Your fee today is 1000 GPs.

Have I ever given someone a fake name or a false phone number? No. There was, however, a time when I wished I had given someone a false number. When I left Oklahoma, I knew that I would be moving in with my mother when I came to Las Vegas, I foolishly gave George Mom's phone number. At that time we still used landlines and house phones rather then cell phones. Anyway I had been her for about a year or so when, out of the blue, George called. I figured he wanted to hook up with me again. I didn't want anything to do with him.

I think I told this story before, but I'll tell it again. He said, "Guess who this is?"

I said, "I don't know." Of course, I knew who it was, but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of letting on I did.

After a few more minutes of begging me to guess his name, he finally decided I didn't remember him. He sounded really pissed to think I didn't remember who he was.

Thinking about this now, it was probably a good thing that I didn't give him a false number. If I had given him a false number I wouldn't have had the fun of letting him think I didn't remember him. It's amazing how much fun revenge can be. I know I shouldn't feel that way, but I'll deal with the guilt of lying to him about not remembering who he was.
