A Funky Creation Saturday

It's a funky creation Saturday,
with the syncopated rhythms of yesterday
echoing across the ocean of our souls.

The memory we used to share is no longer coherent.
It's become an incoherent melody
floating across a groovy landscape
searching for its better half.

It's a chord
blown by the wind
through the window
of what could have been.

Let's all be unique together until we realize we are all the same.
Together we sing:
"Bye bye Miss American Pie  "
our unique voices blending
into a bluesy harmony
of joy and sorrow.

Our uniqueness
and our sameness
merging to become
a rainbow symphony uniting
humanity's scattered fragment.

A song can make or ruin a person’s day if they let it get to them.
The words of a song
can become stuck
in a person's mind
driving them crazy,
causing them to hear
jazzy ghost mimicking
the sexy voices of dead singers.
