Jan. 13 Entry-Music
On this day in 1854, Anthony Faas of Philadelphia, PA, was granted the first US patent for the accordion. He made improvements to the keyboard and enhanced the sound. Do you play or have you ever played any instruments? If not, what's one you'd like to learn? Bonus Points today for sharing a favorite song of yours with us that names any instrument in its title.

Music is a love of mine since I can remember. In grade school I wanted to play saxophone but so did everyone else so I got stuck with the trombone. The problem ended up to be that I was good at it so there I was, the only grade school kid in the high school band.
When I was around 12 I taught myself to play piano on my uncle's piano in his basement. I've never owned one of my own but I have a keyboard I like to play for my entertainment, I'm not Liberace by any means. I could pick up an accordion and play a very simple song with only three chords.
I took quite a few guitar lessons and have written about 18 songs. I don't play any more because it hurts my hands.
Song with instrument in it's title
76 Trombones - Dueling Banjos - Mr. Tamborine Man - Piano Man - Teardrops on My Guitar.......there are probably a jillion others out there.
I think everyone has a little music in their heart.
