Internet or Lifeline?
What's your favorite way of passing the time when your internet connection is interrupted. How addicted to the internet are you?
---------------------
This question is right up my alley. I work for an ISP and believe me, I have been on the receiving end when the internet goes down. We take a fair amount of abuse when this happens. I live in another town so I have other internet service at home. I am pretty tolerant when we have an outage, knowing the variety reasons that causes it from cut fiber, downed trunks, to equipment failure. My job depends on the internet, but I have other things to do when it's out, including endless filing.

I grew up without internet, so my era knows that life doesn't end when the internet is out. Sure, it's inconvenient when you need to get things done, but why stress about something you can't change.

I like it when my family sits down to a game of cards, uno, monopoly, or a variety of other games where you can actually socialize in person. That's what I know, that's how I grew up. By the way, the new electronic monopoly is amazing, I just bought it.

I like the internet a lot but I'm definitely not addicted to it.
