this is a collection of works I am doing in 2016. |
This is just a work I did because I am a writer and I like to look at all sides of the coin. first and foremost I am a Christian with those beliefs, but I am curious as to what really happens after death, no one can tell us that. Here are some ideas that have been tossed around for centuries. Even the Ancient Egyptians believed in an afterlife. Just as Christians believe in an afterlife of damnation or rejoicing in Heaven according to their behavior during this life time. But what if I lived as a black man during the slave times of the south, and before that lived as an Indian woman, being abused by a white husband who bought me from my tribe, or stole be from them! Each life carries with it certain lessons we must learn in order to become the spiritual being God wants for us to be. here is my poem, please enjoy and don't be offended. chances are you and I are very much alike. Lisa Noe~kittylove ![]() ![]() 200 words 38 lines Many lives we live By Lisa Noe ![]() How many lives have you lived? Were you here when the world began? Were you one of the first men? Did Satan try to become your friend? He is still hanging around, Trying to bring you down. Beware of those who flatter thee, They come with little guarantee. They speak of peace and freedom, But offer little care or wisdom. Your first life will speak of you You’ll carry through all that you do Your next life may leave you black, white, brown, It may leave you man or woman or rich or down. I am free, I see a spirit is neither sex nor color It knows not property or wealth, just honor. The type of honor you show the Lord, You show your parents as a reward. The type of love and honor for your neighbor, And honor your spouse as if it was forever. In all your lives you’ll meet many, You should love them, as it’s destiny. In Ecclesiastics of King James, This is what they speak of besides the names. Under the sun there is nothing new That means not me nor you. I believe we'll live again, Over and over like we began. |
