The Insane Tea Party

Well, I finished the Boston Tea Party challenge a few days ago. I wanted to put a different slant on it and so updated it and set it in the present day. Introducing a new president and the fallout of Brexit, I mixed it up and retold the original story with all the same people but recreated in a modern reconstruction.

I'm not sure if it worked but I have to say I enjoyed researching the story of the Boston Tea Party as I'm from the UK and knew very little about it apart from the well-known fact that a group of people threw a lot of tea into the sea. I'm quite a fan of research but I do sometimes get a little distracted and head off into the depths of the internet and find myself in some interesting places. I do find some useful facts that way, I love Google!

So, now I've just to fly my balloon over the beautiful island of Rhodes, a special place in my heart. It was the first time I'd ever flown and I went with my daughter, who had also never flown before, neither of us had really been abroad apart from day trips, so it was an adventure for both of us. I look forward to sharing this.
