A regular (hopefully) muse on my journey through the Rising Stars programme

A Better Day
Well, I have to say I've sorted out the confusion somewhat, thanks to the lovely people on WDC. I've found out where to post things, you wouldn't believe I've been on this site for such a long time. The real problem is that I found this site a long time ago, then I forgot about it, I was busy getting myself a Degree, no mean feat at my age. It was after seven years of study that I rediscovered WDC and so I'm relearning all the wonderful nooks and crannies that are here.

I have to say that it's been an exciting journey so far, it's certainly never boring. The Rising Stars has been the pinnacle of what has been a great year. I achieved 100 days of writing a Poem/Story each day, then I had a piece accepted into the Anthology. I didn't think it could get better but it did *Smile*

I think the process took me by surprise, the mix of my excitement and a habit of going ahead before planning things out is really a big problem for me. So I've spent today catching up on posting what I've done, figuring out where things belong and getting on track.

Thank you to all those who helped and encouraged me on these first steps on a brilliant new journey.
My next step is to make a plan, one that sets out exactly what I'm going to do between now and June.
