Tumultuous Storm
Emotions boil within me
And I stir the clouds
Pulling them closer
And painting them heavy with darkness
I blot out the sun's cheery smile
And I hide in that blackness
Inside I churn and rage
Throwing my full weight into it
Trees tremble and winds wail
My force is undefeatable
Everyone runs for cover
Cowering like sniveling simpletons
Thunder rumbles, tumbles
Lighting scars the sky
Sending bolts of electricity
At unwary travelers
Caught like castaways
In the surge of my torment
I howl and bite
My tantrum terrifies
Even the meek mannered mothers
That mind their small charges
As they scuttle for cover.
There is no escape
I must explode and lash out
Until exhaustion envelops me
And sends me into a mellow mood.
