The mixed match

The worst couple I ever met
Would be the Jones’
They fought over everything
And made everyone around
Them so uncomfortable.
She was a nurse
And he a truck driver.
She was ashamed of him
Thought they were better
Off than everyone else.
He was down to earth
But she was always
Dropping names
Shopping at the most
Expensive stores and
Buying beyond their means.
He would grumble and quarrel
About every dime that she spent
She would lie about his job
Tell her friends he
Was in business
He would find out
And it was war.
But the two of them
Apparently loved
One another because
They stayed together
A long time. A television
Sit Com has been made
About them because they
Are so funny with one another.
