Family Reunion
By Lisa Noe*Cat*

May,
It’s Summer
time for our Reunion
We’ll have it at
The ole well house
Near the lake
Up at Martins Fork
Is a breath taking sight
I love to go to the lake
To swim and run
And have fun in the sun
The ole well it is deep
And from the ground
Water seeps
Creeping flox
Covers the ground
And garden flox surrounds
Children run and play
In the playground
By the lake
The ducks and geese
Swim gracefully by
As we catch our sun rays
In the hot part of day
Mother fixes a picnic lunch
The family is in a bunch
To eat fried chicken
And watermelon
The family dog
Chase the ducks
And Uncle Charlie
Shows off his magic.
A fabulous summer day
For family activity
At play.
After lunch we swim
And grandpa catches fish
For grandma to make a dish
Cousin Johnny shows off
His cool classic car
While onlookers come from far.
It’s been the very best day,
A family reunion at a grand scale.
Now a gray cloud comes in to view
The sun goes behind a cloud
The temperature cools
A raindrop falls
And we all run
For our cars
It’s been a
Great day
My I must
Say!
