Women Ruling The World

What if women would have ruled the world years ago? The explorers were all men. What if there was a female Christopher Columbus and she and a ship full of women would have discovered the new world? Why were explorers all men? Women could have done this. Not ones of the ton or married ones but single ones could have. There were female pirates after all.

Roman soldiers. Not one was a woman. If there would have been female Roman soldiers along with the Celtic women, maybe the Roman Empire wouldn't have fallen. Hopefully, it would have been a nice world but then again, the world still isn't always a nice place.

Women have been Queens but because of birth and marriage. I guess the same is true of Kings. Knights. Were there ever any female knights? No.

Men fought wars and still do. I remember complaining of being on my period when I was a teen-ager and my aunt asked if I would rather have been fighting in the Viet Nam War like my father was or stay home and wear my kotex pads? Gee, Alex, I will take Kotex pads for $1,000! At least women didn't fight wars but now, women are nurses in the war and do fight in this day and age. Is it a choice? If you sign up for the military, I guess it is.

A female President. Hillary Clinton is trying. I would like to have a female President. We need the right woman. Not just any one.

Someone thought then Pope should be a woman. There was a Pope Joan I read about but everyone thought she was a man.

God wanted man to be in charge but he wanted women to be part of the world and help. We are equals. I feel men and women should be equal. I am not bashing men. I happen to like men. I married one. I like that men protect women. That means a lot. History. We can't change it. Women have a lot of rights today and I am content with that. The world belongs to both men and women. We can rule it together.
