Casualties of War By Lisa Noe ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here they stand the casualties of wars, The government treats them just like whores! They come back home lame and broke, The way they are treated it is a joke. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Many died and the rest feel pain, It’s enough to drive them insane. They’re taught to kill but their just kids, Many of them give in to suicide and blame. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Today they’re treated like heroes, That’s great, But remember the vets you used to hate. I don’t forget what they went through, With out the approval of all of you! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I stand tall and salute them all, And I’ll remember the ones that fall. I love the vets they’ve given me life, But all they get is a bunch of strife. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() God Bless you men and women in uniform, Thanks for the protection from the storm. I love that eagle that flies so high, And I miss all of those who died. This poem is dedicated to all the Veterans of war. |
