Dark Shadows
Prompt: My name is Victoria Winters. I am going on a journey that will bring me to a strange, dark house on the edge of the sea at Widows Hill. There, I am going to be a governess to a young boy and the companion of a mysterious woman. "Dark Shadows" Write a poem or story about this and this doesn't have to be Dark Shadows related.

I chose this prompt because I am watching the old "Dark Shadows" And I got the whole series for Christmas with all the DVD's in a "coffin" box with Barnabas' picture on the front. I made a scrapbook and am working on a second one. Okay.

I have always wanted to live in a gothic mansion with ghosts and live in the Regency times. If I couldn't be part of the ton, I would want to be a governess. I could have handled this and be a companion to an elderly woman. Like Victoria, I would have been nosey. If vampires and werewolves showed up, I would love the supernatural effect. Maybe I would have fallen in love with a Lord or Noble. Maybe a spooky creature lived in the tower room or the basement. I work in an old county home that has ghosts and it can be interesting but not a "Dark Shadows" adventure. To sum it up, I am including a item I wrote a few years back. I love "Dark Shadows" and watching the show again is great and feeds on my imagination.
