II. Laurie Claire Mans is introduced as the a-typical antagonist.
a. Employment
b. Secret ambition
c. Family background
d. Vitals/stats

III. Current – Relationship
         a. Amp it up story.

IV. One year before
a. Lose advantage to Jim. Who is Jim and why would Laurie be attracted to him. He has to be enough of an irritant that she soon tires of his whackydoodle ways.
b. There must be a distraction. Such as what is bio-mom doing now to screw things up.

V. 18 months before
a. Lose Advantage to Craig. Who is Craig and why would Laurie be attracted to him. He is by far too serious for someone as carefree as she.
b. There must have been a distraction. What was bio-mom doing to screw things up.

VI. Two years before
a. Broken engagement. What caused Bonnie to break it off with Warren. He did the asking. His heart was not in it, but this was someone his “mom” liked.
b. Bio-mom was introduced and the woman fled.

VII. College Days.
a. Kicking back.
b. Road trip story

VIII. High School Days
a. Where friendship began. How it began. This would be the film club or some obscure in-common interest.

IX. Insert current day tense situation. This would be a good place to have the family come to some level of civility
X. Wrap it up.
a. Boy wins the girl. Haven’t figured out how quite yet. There will have to be an awareness of the acceptance and confidence that best friends have. I want this to go beyond attraction, and into something that transcends the ages.
