A prompt or two a day keeps the boredom at bay...

Tonight I was browsing the freebie adverts on Gumtree. It flashed into my foggy brain that here is a rich source of writing prompts. The place is brimming with them. Overflowing right into this blog entry. I hope these may entertain if not be a help to someone. It's a fun exercise. You should try it some time. That way your perusal of cheap rubbish for sale or give away isn't completely for nothing. Pun intended.

Something that irritates me about Freebie ads, is the advertiser who places their wares in this description, knowing full well that the thing for sale is NOT free. That's right. They put a price on it. I wouldn't buy it on principle.
