Prompt: Which emotions fade away the most easily for you and which ones have a way of lingering?

The emotion that fades the fastest is anger because it makes me physically sick. No kidding, my head hurts, and I just feel like vomiting. Who wants that? Just get over it and move on.

The one that lingers is the happy you get when you view the world through a child's eyes. I watch my nieces and nephews raising their kids and it is delightful. Those little ones throw every part of their being into everything. That uninhibited joy, anger, pouting, sleepy time, whatever emotion they are going through, it is felt through the entire depth of their being. And I love to see that until life teaches them to squish that "all in" state of being.
