Would We Feel?

Would we feel our hearts scream in bliss,
Without suffering those heartaches and griefs?
Would we feel how mirthful we glow,
Without having shed our tears of sorrow?
Would we feel the essence of life,
Without having lost most of our strife?

Would we feel that the day is so bright,
Without having glimpsed on the darkest night?
Would we feel that our wounds completely healed,
When the scars and agonies are still concealed?
Would we feel that God is even here,
When our lives are still entangled with fear?

When you feel that life is too much to bear,
Kneel down and say your healing prayer.
