There are those less than idyllic days in the future we'd rather not think about. You know the ones. First day of this, of that. Exams. Driving test. Biopsy results. Our pet grown elderly and...stop. The day our youngest child leaves Year 10 of High School. We just enjoy the moment and don't think ahead. Too Far. We admire, laugh, busy ourselves and most of all, feel proud. What else can you feel? We feel proud of our own, but also all the others that made it. We can share in the sense of achievement, we can share in a bit of their reflected glory. We can enjoy people's admiration of them, and catch the odd comment about them. Oh, their parents have done a good job! And the not so good to hear. Definitely takes after her mum...
