Istiqlal (Independence), 13 Qawl (Speech), 171 BE - Friday, December 5, 2014 Day 66 of My 95-Day Gratitude Challenge "Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation." Brian Tracy I am feeling depressed. I feel as if I have to push myself to accomplish anything. It is difficulty to focus because my mind wants to go wandering through my fantasies. I am grateful that I have accomplished twelve reviews this morning. I am not feeling good physically. I do not know what is causing the problem. It could be that I have not been following my diet as closely as I should. It could also be the dreary day. I felt all right yesterday, but today I am feeling ill and depressed. Perhaps I am feeling ill because I am depressed. I am grateful that I remained home instead of going out this morning. I poured myself a cup of cranberry juice, so I am feeling a little better physically. However, I am still somewhat depressed. The sun appears to be coming out from behind the clouds or the clouds are moving from in front of the sun. Maybe it will be sunny this afternoon. I am grateful for cranberry juice drink cold on an autumn day. I called in a prescription this morning. I called back about 11:00 am to see if the doctor has faxed it back. I suppose I will end up getting the prescription next week after going to see the doctor. It is probably just as well because I need to talk to her about the way I feel today. I am grateful for modern technology because I can call in a prescription and then pick it up when I want to. My entire body aches this afternoon. I cannot let t hat stop me from accomplishing something. I may have to take a pain pill later today if I continue to hurt the way I do. I am grateful for the neighbors music because it is up beat and helps me overcome depression. This afternoon I am thankful that my Bank of American checking account is not overdrawn. I am grateful that I received papers through the mail today to make out for my eye doctor's appointment. This afternoon I am thankful that I have 660 minutes left to use on my phone. I have used a lot of minutes this week, but I still have plenty left to use. I am grateful for the ease and user-friendly website of my cellphone provider. |
