aaaahhhh Friday
My weekend began with me getting stuck in my driveway and all I wanted to do was go mail my rent check So, I just spent 2 hours shoveling snow; something, by the way, that I would have been incapable of doing this time last year. (Was recovering from a long bout of illness and recent gallbladder surgery back then.) Today it felt really good to be able to actually do something physical for 2 hours straight.
It was snowing again as I came into the house so that promises another shoveling bout tomorrow.
I haven't even had my breakfast yet! (I got up around 4:00pm MT--6:pm ET).
I have accomplished my initial February goal of showing up every day and saying something--anything--in my blog--Only missed one day and that was the day before I set my goal. Therefore, I will set the same goal for March. Practicing accountable consistancy gives me the meerest opportunity to actually write something new.
[hmmm, I Just discovered that 'meer' is not a word by itself--verbal slang that I use alot to indicate a quantitative measure that is smaller than tiny--I cannot find it in the dictionary. Yet, I know I've read it somewhere?]
[The proper spelling is mere. So the sentence should read: Practicing accountable consistancy gives me the merest opportunity to actually write something new. Which just looks odd.]
