Starting Out

Blogs have beckoned me for quite some time.  I guess now is as good a time as any to take the plunge.  This blog is part journal, part memoir, part commentary, part idea starter and so forth and so on.  I guess the first entry should be an affirmative expression of my desire to write, actually to get the words down on paper because I am always writing in my head.  There are so many ideas roaming around up there that I can't seem to grasp just one and run with it.  This has to change.  I am hoping this blog will help me in my quest.
