tiny huge epiphany
You know who you are:
pretend to be comfortable,
clutch at plastic props,
forget your lines, improvise.

You can keep things
clasped to your breast:
your jewels for their trouble,
your scars for their story.

You are that perfect
exception, the unique one,
nobody else is you,
but shockingly,

everyone has a self.
The thought that only I am me
is a tiny, huge epiphany.
