Gratitude breaks the spell of Writers Block |
My computer desk is a huge heavy five drawer wooden desk. My computer sits in the middle of the desk, so I have room on the right and left side of the desk to lay other things. I cleaned out a suitcase that is sitting on the couch and found some loose papers with poem starts on them, so I brought them over to my desk to record the lines in "The Snowflake Chronicles" . When I got to the desk, I found that I did not have enough room to lay the papers on the desk without something falling off. I cleaned off the left side of my desk, but I still have to clean off the right side. On the left side of my desk I place some reading material, such as books and two notebooks containing my mother's poem. The books on my desk are (1) The Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah, (2) Mom's Prayer Book, (3) Baha'i Readings, (4) my Prayer Book, (5) The Glad Tidings of Baha'u'llah, and (6) a Course of Study for Baha'u'llah and the New Era (I still have to find my copy of this book). I do not need reading material when I am using this computer because it is fast enough that I do not have to wait for a website to load; however, I like having reading material next to my computer. I also have a flashlight on the desk as well. |
