This may come as a shock after the previous entries in this blog, but I do not, in fact, have a Valentine. That's not all bad. I remember when I was a teenager, I used to tell myself that I should be between girlfriends at Christmas and Valentine's day. In the former case, it would save me the expense of buying Christmas presents. In the latter case, it would save the expense of buying roses, candy or stuff like that. Yeah, I was cheap. Of course, the really pathetic thing is that I never had to worry about that anyway.

Well, now I'm single and living in China. Valentine's day is not a Chinese holiday, but a little of it has seeped in. On the streets, there are people selling roses and stuff like that. Plus, someone told me that today one of the shopping malls is having a kissing contest. But that is neither here nor there.

Oh well. This isn't my best entry, but keep reading. . .
